"Fêtons la soirée" concert - August 4th

REBELS
Rebels is a group influenced by folk, traditional, Irish and popular styles. The trio from Îles-de-la-Madeleine attracts crowds of all ages; even the younger audiences. The group's members have told Le Radar newspaper that the younger audiences' interest must be a sign that traditions are being brought down to current generations!
This Louisiana native is quite the well-known musician. Waylon offers a Cajun and Zydeco musical style filled with energy! The ‘‘joie de vivre’’ of ‘‘Louisiana’s Rockin Fiddler’’ is reflected well in his dynamic performance that will surely get your feet dancing.
Originally from the maritime provinces, this Acadian trio demontrates their acadian pride through their eclectic style of music. The lyrics in the acadian dialect and their hip-hop/electro sound is the best combination that resonates with the crowd of any language.

ALAIN-FRANÇOIS
Alain-François, a French artist, has a lively spirit. His energy and charisma has been demonstrated on stage since the mid-80's. His compositions are a mixture of diverse genres of classic rock/folk rock, traditional and a humorous style. Alain-François will end the festival with a bang that will resonate until next year!

Monique is a resplendent woman from Notre-Dame in New Brunswick. She has a career in song as well as performing for more than 15 years. This has allowed her to do concerts all over Acadie, Quebec and Europe. Monique's folk style offers the promise of an intimate atmosphere during Cabaret Evening with Monique Poirier.
